Connecting Lives Beyond Bars Through Respectful, Meaningful Introductions

Connecting Hearts, Respectfully

Write Decent Inmates is a privacy-focused matchmaking service created to help incarcerated individuals connect with caring people outside correctional facilities. The service is designed for people seeking meaningful friendships, genuine conversations, romantic connections, or positive relationships. Through a structured introduction process, individuals can review available profiles and express interest while maintaining appropriate privacy and discretion. To help protect personal information, client profiles are identified using unique identification numbers rather than unnecessary personal details, providing a more secure and respectful way to explore potential connections.

Why Our Service Exists Today

Many incarcerated people long for sincere conversation yet have limited, monitored avenues to meet new friends. Write Decent Inmates steps into that gap with a structured, respectful system that keeps personal data secure. Interested visitors browse photo profiles assigned identification numbers, then work through a Match Coordinator to share a brief introduction. Both parties must confirm interest before direct contact details are released, ensuring every connection starts with mutual consent, transparency, and peace of mind.

Our Four Core Principles

Every introduction is guided, consensual, and designed to nurture safe authentic online dialogue.

How Matches Are Made

Our seven-step process balances opportunity with security. After browsing available profiles, you submit an inquiry that cites the inmateโ€™s unique identification number. A Match Coordinator will reach out to gather your photo and short bio, then present them to the potential match. If the inmate approves, you receive additional profile information and decide whether to proceed. Only when both sides confirm interest will we provide the mailing address or email provider so you can begin writing freely.
